I'm Back, Mama!
And I'm sorry I didn't formally exit the chat!
This last month has been long, heavy, and full of different adventures!
We had 3 birthdays, a wedding, a baptism, road trip, extended family visit, a family move-in to our camper, tire blowout, car window damage, vehicle impounded and reunited with us, unexpected hotel expenses, and now we are back from that journey. However, the excitement doesn’t end here…
We are getting a dairy cow and her calf, 60 chickens, homeschool started up, meal preparation, piano lessons on the rise, and my husband has to go on two more road trips within the next month for work!
Talk about some high energy.
During our road trip, my laptop bag fell out of the car, from being pushed to the very back, by kids who were getting into all the luggage. And when I had gone back to open the hatch, the case fell, and the damage isn’t pretty. It’s not as bad as it could have been (Praise the Lord) though now i cannot use the touchscreen capabilities, and there’s a big crack on the right side of my screen.
I am still so grateful that I can use my laptop today, and not have any major issues, and writing on this blog is still an option for me.
My heart goes out this week to all you Mamas who are pushing through the currents of life, the waves that seem to crash every day. And somehow you are managing to get up, and show up. You are here, which means you’ve survived this far! And I am so proud of you. It is hard being a mom, and its harder being a mom in today’s world. With all the demands that come with the title, from the ugly to the beautiful.
Remember you are worth it. You are worthy, beautiful, strong, and without you, there would be a massive Void in this planet. A mama’s journey is one the world could not survive without.
So take that bath, drink some tea, take a nap, get outside, put on your headphones. Take a moment to yourself to release the past, and prepare for whats ahead. Because if your schedule is anything like mine, you’re going to need that moment.
My baby girl is snuggled up next to me, falling asleep as i type this, and I just have to say, our work is miraculous. It is beautiful, sometimes rocky, and girl, you are So powerful. Let’s straighten our crowns together, and rise.
Send this to a Mom who is doing an amazing job, and may need to hear it from someone else. We are in this together. I see you.
